We specialize in sweet corn. Our corn is a little slow coming on this year. Last week was our first picking. We should have sweet corn now thru September, if the weather will cooperate with us. We should have new patches of corn coming on about every two weeks. That enables us to always have the freshest sweet corn. We pick our sweet corn fresh every day and any corn we don’t sell at market we take to the local shelters and food pantries.

Our daughter (Debbie and her husband Ed) help us to keep the rest of our vegetables fresh. Right now their green beans are doing great. They are small, crisp, and freshly picked.

We have available now freshly picked cucumbers, pickles, beets, candy onions, hot peppers, zucchini, and new red potatoes.

Coming soon; tomatoes,peppers, watermelon, and cantaloupe.

Shaw’s Local Produce will be set up at the Granville Farmers Location Saturday July 23rd from 8:30 til 12:00.
